Inspired by the architectural beauty of The Rookery in Chicago, this project was created during my sophomore year of college in competition for the CFDA Teen Vogue Scholarship where design students create a collection for Target. The designs were inspired by the ornamental Persian details of the building, as well as the spiral staircases that run through the halls. I translated this by looking into pleats that replicated the staircases and working with colors that Target opts for in their women's clothing. Pictured are samples of my work from this project.
