A designer with a love for product that stems from trend, newness, and innovation. In high school, I dual-enrolled with Kendall College of Art and Design, taking classes focused on color development, drawing, and painting, as well as 3-D sculpture. After graduating high school I attended Columbia College Chicago and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design.
After leaving college, I became a freelance assistant designer at Claire's and Icing. My job consisted of tech packs, product design, line sheets, and working directly with both domestic and international vendors. I assisted in the design and product development of handbags, small leather goods, hats, scarves, and seasonal apparel. Once I completed my position freelancing, I interned with Randa Accessories designing women's belts for Tommy Hilfiger, NYDJ, Target, and Guess. I am now currently an Assistant Designer at Randa, designing men's wallets for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Haggar, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and many others. My experience has allowed me to develop product that is placed both nationally and internationally, has allowed me to design for a wide range of age and gender, as well as understanding the importance of each individual brand's identity. I have had hands-on experience with meeting deadlines, time management, communication with both team members and customers. I am a firm believer that good design is dependent on hard work, dedication, and a lot of coffee.
My work has been exhibited at Columbia College Chicago, Neiman Marcus, and is archived with the Driehaus Museum. I am the first place winner of the Driehaus Design Initiative 2018 and Autohaus on Edens 2018.
